This project was a great opportunity for the team at Mcraes Global to demonstrate the capability of combining Hydraulics, Engineering and Controls into an integrated solution for the customer.
The Canting Keel Control system with automatic wrong sided correction provides the captain with optimised overall vessel control when peak performance is required most. The system was used on board Blink under full race conditions during the 2014 SSANZ Round the North Island Race. Blink won the race with an overall lapse time of 7 days, 11:51:02.
